The Rules
1. You must post these rules.
2. Each person must post 5 things about themselves in their journal.
3. Answer the questions the tagger set for you in their post, and create eleven new questions for the people you tag to answer.
4. You have to choose 11 people to tag and post their icons on your journal.
5. Go to their page and tell them you have tagged him/her.
6. No tag backs.
7. No stuff in the tagging section about "you are tagged if you are reading this". You legitimately have to tag 11 people.
Five things about myself:
1. I study IT and communications, after switching from social science.
2. I analyse almost everything I come into contact with, because understanding things is awesome.
3. I spend more time thinking of my stories and my characters than I spend thinking about real life.
4. I bite my nails so vehemently that I've grown accomstumed to three kinds of "anti-biting" polish.
5. I tend to swing between serious and silly on a whim. Middle ground? What is that?
1. What is your opinion when it comes to life on other worlds?
In the universe, very plausible. I doubt that anyone has come into contact with us, though. The sheer amount of time it would take to travel seems like a deal breaker.
In other dimensions (aka string theory), a very fascinating thought. I love it from a philosophical perspective, but I don't know what to actually do with it.
2. If you were going on a grand adventure and someone told you "It is dangerous to go alone, take this!" what would you hope they are handing you?
Themselves. What's the fun in an adventure if no one tags along?
3. If you could live in any time frame what would it be?
This one. It's got its flaws, but it's the coolest one yet.
4. What type of music do you enjoy?
Rock, jazz, some pop (60ies and 80ies in particular), electronic, soundtracks, metal, Irish, country, some rap... I tend to listen mostly to rock, but there's good in every genre.
5. If you could have any job what would it be?
Total dream job: Live off telling stories, either as an author or as a webcartoonist.
Lesser dream job: Have a communications/webmaster job for an NGO that I believe in.
Else: Any kind of leader/administrative job where I have to help people work through big, complicated tasks.
6. What brought you to DA in the first place?
I don't remember, but I suspect
7. Are you suggesting that coconuts migrate? ([link])
I'm ashamed I had to click the link to recognize that. /fails at Monty Python
8. Question stealing time.... PONIES?
I watched the first 5 or so episodes, and it was pretty good. Problem is, I'd given myself the task of reviewing every episode thoroughly, and I stumbled into a streak of not having 1½ hours for each episode. It kind of petered out after that.
I am highly amused by bronies, though, and I think the show's artwork is awesome.
9. Do you like poetry? (don't worry, I don't mind if you dislike it I just want to know who else is interested in it)
Poetry can be powerful, but I'm picky. I can appreciate good poetry from a technical or creative standpoint, but the ones that really move me are rare.
I have a few poetry collections, though they're all in Danish. Piet Hein is the best.
As for writing, I wrote a gazillion bad emo poems back when I was 14-16, but they will NEVER see light of day because they suck. The few I write today are better, but that's not saying much.
10. If you could ask me a question, what would it be? (perhaps I will respond below)
What made you get into poetry?
11. Stealing the stolen question..... What are your opinions about me?
You seem really cool, and your energetic outbursts makes me smile
My questions:
1. Why are you on DA?
2. What did you want to be when you grew up?
3. Best webcomic out there?
4. What would you do if you had one million dollars?
5. Any pet peeves?
6. What do you think is your biggest drawing (or writing, if that's your thing) challenge?
7. Your self-biography is out! What is it called?
8. Are you a D&D player?
9. Any big artistic influences?
10. If you had the opportunity to get a message across to a large group of people, what would your message be?
11. Three words to describe you.
Who I am tagging: I have no idea who would be interested in this. Maybe
Yeah, I suck at tagging. Screw the rules, it's MY journal
